HCC offers a number of programs that provide technical, legal, organizing and financial support to low-income cooperatives, otherwise known as Housing Development Fund Corporations (HDFCs).
HCC represents survivors of domestic violence and provide legal services to individuals in housing court, immigration matters, and consumer debt issues. We partner with Safe Horizon to seek orders of protection and safety planning.
HCC is not currently able to help individual New Yorkers find an affordable apartment. We encourage neighborhood residents and their families to sign up for the many programs we advocate for that provide affordable apartments.
